About Me

Hi! My name is Byung Kim. I am a video content producer specializing in a little bit of everything in the field of independent video productions. I pride myself in my ability to own the process for every project I’ve worked on, with multiple core specializations including but not limited to camera operation, lighting, audio, video editing, motion design, and coloring. Being able to execute video projects from start to finish allows me to have great technical understanding of how to manage a production workflow in a team environment. My current primary specialization is in full-time corporate video production at a software company named Helium 10.

Coming from hands-on experience and experimentation with my own equipment and directive, I believe that video is the best medium in terms of visual communication. It tells stories, moves deeply, and produces a response in viewers. I strive for this goal for every project, beyond capturing just sound and color. I love being self-taught and being inspired in new ways, ultimately to create works that can stir you.
